Get ready to experience the magic of the Maldives!

For a full week, a liveaboard boat is your home while you explore some of the most ridiculous underwater scenery on the planet.

The Itinerary - 8 Days, 7 Nights Liveaboard Boat

Below are the locations we plan to visit, however please note that the itinerary may be adjusted based on weather, ocean conditions, and wildlife activity to ensure the best possible experience.

On this trip, you will have the option to experience the ocean in the way that suits you best. You can choose to snorkel from the surface, enjoy relaxed freediving, or, if you are a certified diver, opt to scuba dive at selected sites. While scuba is available for those qualified, this journey is designed primarily as a snorkelling and fun freediving adventure so everyone can explore the underwater world together in an accessible and enjoyable way.

Snorkelling, Freediving and Scuba

Fly into Velana International Airport and dive straight into the energy of the Maldives’ incredible floating city. After soaking in the scene, you’ll be picked up by our private boat, where the real adventure begins as we cruise away from civilisation and out into an untouched island paradise.

Arrival in Male

Throughout the trip you will spend time on a variety of Maldivian sandbanks, each shaped by tides and currents into striking stretches of white sand surrounded by crystal clear water.

These remote islands feel worlds away from everyday life, offering everything from quiet sunset walks and stargazing to relaxing beach stops and opportunities to learn about local marine conservation.

Some sandbanks sit close to traditional island villages, giving you a gentle insight into Maldivian culture, while others feel more private and luxurious with shaded seating, tropical gardens, and pristine surroundings. Together, they showcase the beauty, diversity, and fragile nature of the Maldives’ coastal ecosystems.

A brand new day in the Maldives begins with an unforgettable encounter as we set out in search of one of the ocean’s most majestic creatures, the whale shark, at Dhidhoo Beyru.

Later in the afternoon, we return to the water for another spectacular snorkel at Lux Beyru, where we hope to spot graceful eagle rays drifting through the blue.

As the sun starts to set, we head back to shore to unwind on the beach and enjoy a relaxed and delicious seaside BBQ under the evening sky.

Dhidhoo Beyru - Whale Sharks

Rasfari Beyru is a stunning outer reef site known for its vibrant coral formations, excellent visibility, and rich marine life, making it ideal for both diving and snorkeling. Strong ocean currents bring an abundance of fish to the reef, so visitors can expect to see colourful reef fish, turtles, rays, and occasionally larger pelagic species passing by.

The reef slopes gently into deeper water, giving snorkelers easy access to beautiful coral gardens while also offering exciting drift dive opportunities for more experienced divers. With its crystal clear conditions and thriving ecosystem, Rasfari Beyru is widely regarded as one of the most rewarding underwater locations in the region.

Rasfari Beyru - Snorkeling

We begin the morning with a swim at Dhigurah Beyru, where you will have the chance to get up close with sea turtles in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, we move to Dangethi Beyru to explore its vibrant coral gardens and crystal clear waters, with the possibility of spotting reef sharks and graceful rays gliding beneath us.

Once we finish our time in the water, we step ashore to wander through the beautiful island of Dangethi and experience local island life before returning to the boat for dinner.

Dhigurah Beyru - Turtles and Sharks

The shimmering waters of Olhuveli’s stunning lagoon welcome us for our very first swim, where you will glide among colourful and curious reef fish in crystal clear shallows. After a relaxed lunch on board, we wrap up the journey in unforgettable style with a visit to Rihiveli Dolphin Lagoon, where you will have the chance to snorkel alongside playful wild dolphins in their natural habitat.

Located in South Ari Atoll, Dhigurah is one of the Maldives’ most beautiful elongated islands, stretching toward a stunning sandbank at its southern tip. This peaceful stretch of white sand is ideal for leisurely walks, sunset views, and moments of quiet reflection.

Beyond the beach, Dhigurah offers an authentic look at everyday Maldivian life. Its small, welcoming village is filled with brightly painted homes, friendly locals, and charming cafés where you can experience true island hospitality.

Explore Local Islands

We will visit more spectacular sites celebrated for their vibrant coral gardens and abundant marine life. Both Kuramathi Beyru and Maayafushi showcase breathtaking underwater beauty, and at Maaya Lagoon, there is even the opportunity for certified divers to try scuba diving alongside the reef.

Emperor Voyager is a modern and spacious 30 metre liveaboard designed for comfort and style. Every cabin is fully en-suite and fitted with both air conditioning and a fan, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout your journey.

All meals are freshly prepared and served on board in a relaxed buffet style throughout your journey. We are happy to accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other preferences, so everyone can enjoy delicious food tailored to their needs while on board.
